Kari Marbury

Founder & Visionary

Kari is The Aletheia School’s visionary, and she has desired to create a space for Wolfeboro’s homeschoolers to be discipled and grow in their learning for the past 10 years. She is deeply passionate about seeing high school students and young adults gain an understanding of what a biblical worldview is and how it influences every part of their lives. She believes that fostering a community where students can wrestle with the truth and challenge one another over fundamental questions will help shape and prepare them to engage with the world. Kari is a homeschool mom herself, and is excited to see how The Aletheia School will continue to grow and impact students in our Wolfeboro community.

Kristen Cornell

Resource Center Director & Advisor

Kristen has been in education all her life, from pursuing a master’s degree in education to homeschooling her own children through middle school and high school. She has a passion for guiding families through the homeschool process and helping them make informed decisions about their curriculum, documentation, and career preparation. She truly finds joy in researching different homeschool opportunities and finding creative ways to cater to the individual student. Her heart is to share her knowledge and experience with homeschool families to help them thrive within their homeschool journey. In grad school, Kristen specialized in incorporating arts in education and she values the creative opportunities homeschooling presents.

Katherine Cornell

Academy Director & English Teacher

Katherine has a passion for teaching students how to think and discern, as well as for making education more than just rote memorization of facts and ideas. She loves English and writing, and desires to encourage students in their abilities to understand the ideas of other and share ideas of their own. She was employed as a writing coach at Liberty University, where she was trained in indirective teaching, an approach which focuses on finding ways to help students draw conclusions, discover their own patterns, and formulate their own ideas. Katherine will be graduating with her MA: Literature from Liberty University in December, 2025.
